Private Guided Art Session

Indulge your artistic side and book a private guided art session with our resident artist at Futurology Farms. During this 1.5-2 hour session, you'll have the opportunity to explore your creativity and create your very own art piece in one of several mediums you'll choose. And all while capturing the glorious countryside vista view from our mountain top, overlooking the Cumberland River, the holler, and the mountains across the river.

 Here's what you can expect: 

• Private guided art session with our resident artist

• Materials provided for the session based on the instructor's discretion

• Easel provided

• Completed art piece to take home as a memento of your time at Futurology Farms

The cost for the session is $75, and it's non-refundable. 2 people in one session $125.00

Given the nature of this service, the session fee is non-refundable. In the case of inclement weather, the session will be rescheduled based on nature's requirements. 

Futurology Farm Signature Campfire Chair

Futurology Farm's signature Campfire Chairs are handmade from our very own Eastern Red Cedar Trees. This makes them extremely sturdy, heavy, and insect resistant. The custom design allows for a flat fold for storage or transporting them.

The design of the chair makes them very comfortable and relaxing. Guests tell us they can't believe how comfortable they are. When you think of a chair made from wood, your first thought is it must not be very comfortable. This is what is so surprising about these Campfire Chairs. There's a debate about these chairs. Some call them Campfire Chairs and others say they are Stargazer Chairs. Either way, you'll enjoy both activities with these chairs.

The chairs are 38" tall by 21" wide and 48" long in the open position. In the closed flat storage position it is 21" by 48" by 5". They come natural finish with a natural cedar outdoor sealer to preserve the beautiful cedar color and look. They will last for many years and provide a lifetime of memories and enjoyment around your campfire. Additional colors are available upon request and will add an additional fee of $25/per chair.

For an added touch you can get them personalized with a first name, the last name, or a nickname. Or even a property or business name. Customization is an additional charge per chair of $25/chair.

Given the extremely dense nature of the wood, these chairs are heavy and shipping costs will reflect the weight. This charge will be determined based on a case-by-case basis.

NEW to our signature series of products from the farm-these hand-crafted eastern cedar bar stools are made from our very own cedar. We fell the trees. Have them milled. We plan, sand, and construct the stools. 

They are extremely durable and heavy. Perfect for the outdoor bar- poolside or barside! 

The stools are handcrafted from our own eastern cedar and lovingly finished in a away that allows the imperfections nature created to stay! These imperfections make the stools each unique and beautiful.

They come unfinished. You can order them sealed, stained, or painted for an additional fee. They can be customized with names or anything you'd like!

Handcrafted Cedar Campfire Starter

The Futurology Farms Cedar Camp Firestarters are just as beautiful as they are functional.

These firestarters are born from the farm and our love of the campfire and the smell of burning cedar. Cedar slices are approximately 5-6" inches in diameter and filled with soy candle wax, a wick, a variety of natural materials from the farm, and cedar shavings all designed to create a campfire experience.No 2 starters are identical because they are filled with a combination of some of whatever nature provides in season. Things like- pinecones, sweet gum balls, acorns, hickory nuts, black walnuts, cedar greens, cedar bark, lichen, twigs, and many other gems.

The wax and wick make for a quick and easy way to start your fire while injecting an aromatic experience into your home or yard. Only natural scents are used and no additional chemicals are needed in these starters.

Handcrafted Distressed Upcycled Wood Farmhouse Rustic Wall 

This wall is a feature in our Emerald Eyes Tiny House and now you can have one too! We get so many requests to have this wall that we figured out a way for you to have your very own handcrafted distressed upcycled wood farmhouse rustic wall in your own home or office.

We sell this in 10-square-foot lots. You simply order the number of square feet you need for your project. We offer a few color groupings.

These boards are curated by us and then cleaned, trimmed, planed, sanded, dried, and painted by hand. We then sand them again and seal them. The patterned printed pieces are curated prints to add a unique one-of-a-kind touch. Prints are only available for up to 2 clients.

The boards are ripped to maintain a consistent width to make stacking in installation a breeze. The depth or thickness of the boards will vary to create an authentic original textured look. The boards will range in length. The birds come ready to install and can be installed with a nail gun, nail, and hammer, or liquid nails. Your surface preparation will indicate the best installation technique for your application.

Each color group will have a variety of natural, whitewashed, greyed, color grouping, and pieces curated coordinating printed pieces. All are proportionately balanced for every 0 square feet ordered.

Handcrafted Signs Eastern Red Cedar Feld, milled, planed, and hand-painted

These signs are handmade straight from nature. We make these signs from our own Eastern Red Cedar trees. The trees are feld, milled, and planed by us with our own hands. We take great pride in the process of curating the trees and lovingly craft the material.

Our signs are not made from manufactured materials and cut or imprinted with machines. They have the imperfections nature has made. We honor those imperfections, which add to our signs' beauty.

Cutting down the trees we’ve chosen and seeing the final product is so rewarding. The process of debarking, milling, cutting, planning, and sanding is deeply rewarding. The result is a sign made by hand with love.

The letters are hand drawn and painted with acrylics and sealed with Tung oil to enrich the beauty of the cedar. These signs can be used indoors or outdoors. The letters are black with white outlines.
